Rise above it when there is a flood in your life or a flood in your house. As Isa.40:31 says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run, and not be weary and shall walk and not faint.” How to rise above it? It’s not in worrying over the storm or crises, but in waiting upon the Savior that we are able to rise. And trust His providence, His divine power and His divine plan. And pray that God delivers us from discouragement, frustration with His Spirit within us, His mighty arms beneath us, and His angels surround us, His supply reserved for us; lift us to victory through Christ. Ultimately, give God thanks and praise, for He has made everything beautiful in His time.
God created humans with two eyes, two ears, but one mouth, which means, God delights us to see more, listen more, but gossip less. Christians shall practice to see no one, but Jesus, listen to the Words of God rather than the voice of the world. Gossip less, but talk Gospel and praise God more. Apostle Paul urged the saints in Ephesus,
1) Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs so that it may benefit those who listen.
2) Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person, such a man is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
3) Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.
4) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, Live as children of light. For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. (Eph.4:29; 5:4-5, 8-9).
How to overcome and rise above all consequences, and conflicts in your life?
1) First, by practicing quietness, rest, and the meditation of the Word of God.
2) Second, be filled with the Spirit; speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. (Eph.5:18-19)
3) Third, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of your Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. (Eph.5:21).
4) Fourth, believe it that God will make everything beautiful in His time, be patient, be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. And delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Ps.37:4,7)
