The significant of truth in Christ (在基督裏). You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. What God had made unto us through Jesus Christ? My friends, have you ever pondered about the meaning of “In Christ” and “In Whom”? Once you received Jesus as your Savior, you are a new creature, a new man, indwell together with Christ through the Holy Spirit, by the blood of Jesus you have received the gift of forgiveness, redemption, sanctification, righteousness, and wisdom. As 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30) (KJV) 但你們得在 基督耶穌裏，是本乎 神. 神又使他 成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖. (林前 1:30) . And Colossians 1:13-14 says, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”( Colossians 1:13-14) (KJV) 他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢,把我們遷到他愛子的國裏；我們藉著他的血得蒙救贖，罪過得以饒恕。(西 1:13-14) (CKJVGT). And Ephesians 1:7 says, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” (Ephesians 1:7) (KJV) 我們藉這愛子的血得蒙救贖, 罪過得以饒恕，乃是照他豐富的恩典。(弗 1:7)
In whom we have redemption. How thankful we
can be that we are not trying to get it. We already have it! We are now
delivered from the authority of darkness, from the power of Satan. By virtue of
the new birth we have been delivered out of the kingdom of darkness, and
translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. We can overcome the devil no
matter where we meet him or what the test. Satan’s dominion ended and Jesus’
dominion began in our lives the moment we accepted Jesus as Lord and were
born-again.
Galatians 3:13 tells us that, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of
the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that
hangeth on a tree:”(Galatians 3:13) (KJV) 基督既為我們受了咒詛 就贖出我們脫離律法的咒詛；
Christ hath redeemed us
from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written,
“Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree” we are redeemed from the curse of
the law. What is the cure of the law? Go back to the first five books of the
Bible and see especially the last half of the 28th chapter of
Deuteronomy. In Christ, we are redeemed from the curse of the law – which is
threefold” Poverty, sickness, and the second death- and the blessings of
Abraham are ours! Satan’s dominion over us as new creatures in Christ is ended.
Jesus is our Lord!
Ø For we are his workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus (Eph.2:10)
For we are his
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10) (KJV) 我們原是他的工作，在基督耶穌裏創造而成的,為要叫我們行善,就是 神所預定叫我們行的.(弗 2:10)
We didn’t make ourselves new creatures –He
did. We are His workmanship. And you would better be careful about how you talk
about His workmanship. Be careful to say the same thing about workmanship that
He says about it in His Word. Be careful not to slur or mock God by saying, “Oh,
I’m so poor and weak and unworthy. I’ll never amount to anything.” He didn’t
make you that kind of new creature. He made you a worthy new creature. He made
you a new creature who could stand in His presence as though you had never
committed a sin. He made you a righteous new creature. Start telling who you actually are –instead of
who you think you are. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus who of God is made
unto us wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
(1Corinthians 1:30) For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more
they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall
reign in life By ONE JESUS CHRIST (Rom.5:17)
Ø In Christ, we were healed by His
stripes
Apostle
Peter looking back to the sacrifice at Calvary and said, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the
tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose
stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 2:24) 他被掛在木頭上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因他受的鞭傷，
“By those stripes ye were healed.” Not
going to be, but “were”. God remembers when He laid on Jesus not only the
iniquities and sins of us all, but also our sicknesses and diseases. Jesus
remembers that He bore them for us. Therefore, the Holy Spirit inspired Peter
to write, “… by
whose stripes ye were healed.” This belongs
to us because we are in Christ. He provided it for us. Confess that
Christ is your redemption. Confess that Satan has no more dominion over you and
hold fast to that confession. You have been delivered out of the kingdom of
darkness. Refuse to allow Satan dominion over you. Don’t accept sickness but
reject it. “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias
the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”(Matthew8:17)(KJV) 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話,說：
My friends, In Christ, you are more than
conquerors. (Rom.8:37). You are His new creature, a new man, a wonderful
workmanship, and by His stripes you were healed 2000 years ago. By the blood of
Jesus, your sin was forgiven, for “Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree”, Christ Jesus as Lamb of God took away
the sins of the world. And Himself took our infirmities, and bare our
sicknesses. You have to
believe it, confess it, declare it, believe it and receive it in Jesus Name!
